Though poor Nadal had to lose in order for Djoker to win, he deserved the win!
the match lasted 5h33min (ard there).
awesome endurance power, both of them.
in awe of their stamina, physique, mental strength, wit. (yeah all these are required to play tennis at top level)

i cant return/ return well cause i dont have agility, cant/ cant be bothered to run after the ball, or if i do run up to the ball, i would be in the wrong position to hit the ball & will miss it. -.-"

having training for the first 2 days i was told.
doing job of a receptionist (was interested as mum is currently working as a receptionist) at a atas place (atas= high class place).

it's part time, and 1st Feb is also the date to apply for transfer of uni.

I went to cousin with my cousin, dined at Wavehouse sentosa.
Better go there when there's one-for-one on a Wednesday, else the bill would choke up to more than $100 with a main course, drink, & dessert.

Walked along the siloso beach, lovin' the quietness and tranquility it brings on a wednesday afternoon. Nice view of the horizon too.

Me being very adventurous even turned around on the Sky Ride to take pics of the sea. (not advisable, but it's REALLY fun!)

Hmm.
And cousin bought that Brown Hat I'm wearing in one of the pics below.
I bought the flip flops u see me wearing in black with rainbow striped sides.

Yup. Went on the Luge ride twice.
Shall post another blog on another issue str after this!

Btw the kampong chicken main course was just alright. Nicely marinated and stuff, tangy sauce, but not particularly spectacular.
The airy milk chocolate cloud dessert is not recommend. Not very nice except for the brownie-like chunk (quite a large piece) in the center of the dessert.
The drink I had, 'Beach Bunny' tasted like watermelon juice with vodka. Haha. I liked it for it was sweet, but a little bit bland, wud hav preferred a stronger alcohol/ higher content of alcohol blend in.
Prefer the 'sex on the beach' shots. :3

Well. Here I am blogging from bed in the dark. Thoughts just went thru my mind...
I've always been quite an indecisive person, and decisions are often reconsider/ regretted/ remade.
Often, I will find out whether I like or dislike my school after 2 years studying there. And that has been the case for my sec sch- SAC to CG, and well JC was just 2 yrs can't do anything... And well, right now, uni. Almost 2 yrs in and im out alr. -.-"
My dad was comparing my indecisiveness to marriage, stating that in the future after I get married, I'll get fickle-minded & intent to remarry. -.-"
Well. Abt that I'm not sure but dating wise... I'm fickle too. It's just a trait of mine, I can't change it much.
I'm also fickle abt my clothes, shoes, makeup, bags, thats why I have tons of them, so that I can choose frm the wide range (that continues to grow exponentially).
Gonna stop blogging right now & coax myself to sleep. Or prob listen to dad and count my fellow sheeps. Haha.

So went to Changi Airport T3 today again!
Bought an awesome Levi's Bejeweled White Watch, and other stuffz, and in exchange got 2 free black angry birds!

Today's driving was hmmmmm. one of my better days in the FREAKING IDIOTIC circuit. -.-
WHY THE HELL MUZ WE LEARN HOW TO DRIVE IN THAT FREAKING NARROW CIRCUIT when the road outside is so much broader & lenient?!?

everytime i'm in the circuit my heart would pound faster. like when i see my crush (well. in the past that is)...

WTF (is not enough to describe how i feel)

Anyways. so went to circuit, did all stations, then went out to drive out in the normal roads (PHEW) for another 30mins.
all was well outside.
BUT.
at the end of the lesson when i was about to alight my instrutor's car.....
i swung the door open without looking outside....
and the door almost collided with the motorcyclist oncoming. -.-"""""""""""""""

he dodged my door in time, thankfully.
and he stopped. some distance infront of my car to stare at me. WTF.
i am apolegetic.
but u expect me to go up to u and apologize?
anyways u sped past, and very close to my car leh.
who would have known u were approaching.....

SIGH.
Embarrassing & EPIC day of my life, just like any other day.

Still awaiting the response frm the various jobs i've applied to....
Hopefully i'll get one in a nice nice location. :D

so i intend to work for the time being, then apply to another sch, probably a local one, as a private college aint that recognised (and i learnt that the HARD WAY)
else, if all else fails, i would most probably save up my monies and go overseas to study.
Most viable option is to go to Aussie, as it's cheaper & nearer.
Parents (stuck in the mud) dun (for now, perhaps might change their mind after some coaxing) allow me to study in places like US/ UK, cause they say when i go there i'd go crazy and party all day & night yada yada yada.......

But i guess that might be true to a certain extent, but, if i go alone i party with whom? unless i can make alot of friends there ASAP. else parties wud come later.

On the other hand, i wonder how i can survive on my own.
haha.
being unable (nvr tried) to wash my own clothes.
(only 1 thing though)
could learn but......i'd rather send em to the cleaners. :D

Language barriers makes someone less attractive to others--> my own opinion.

My guy should ideally be Chinese or be someone who can speak Chinese.
Not for my sake though, for the sake of the ease of communication with my parents & my family, whose first language (if there's such a thing), is Chinese.

If it were me, asking me to choose one language to speak with my future spouse, i might choose english.
But speaking Chinese gives me a sense of closeness to the other person, probably cause it's my 'main tongue' after all.....

Spent NYE @ The Butter Factory! When u go next, go to the BUMP room! Very nice music! :D FASH is only ok. Zouk is the best so far in terms of clubbing experience. Haha. Here I am blogging at 6.30am on the first day of 2012! On my way home, not really that tired but see tired faces on the first train. Haha. Some people dozed off alr. Lols. Feeling abit tired now. Feet was killing me and I took it off most of the time. Hate those black pointed covered heels. Somehow it didn't hurt when I wore it to the supreme court last time. How I wish I had flip flops with me now. :( and I should hav worn wedges to butter fact just now.
Had my first meal of 2012, a macs hotcake meal with 2 hashbrowns, 1 courtesy of Elaine. Haha.
Now at paya lebar, suppose when I reach Pasir Ris mrt I would be shagged.

Woots! Back to blogging after 10days hiatus!
Soo... Been going out here and there. Quite a filled schedule.
Thinking abt finding a job in Jan, so as to not waste time as sch wouldn't be that busy anyways.
Sharing some pics of dresses I like out of all of my dresses which are ironed (haha). Sadly, I dun get to wear these dresses (practically at all) cause it's weird (to me) to dress up when meeting friends (casual outing) and I'm single as no one to wear to also (!) haha. Probably get to wear them when I have a bf. Lols.
Or I could change my mindset abt standing out & dressing up when meeting my friends. Hmm. See my mood. ;)
Then there's me and Alwina @ Once Upon A Milkshake (OUAM) @ Pasir Ris sports complex (Newly opened shop! :B)

Had an amazing time @ the gym exercising.
Sadly was facing the swimming pool & had a strong urge to go swim.

Haven't been blogging for sometime cause I was sick and didn't get to go out much! Had fever, flu, cough, sore throat and I lost my voice for slightly over a week! -.-"
Now I'm all better, though throat does itch now and then.
Went for karaoke yesterday! Reminiscing old times with E!
Mummy bought me that cute spongebob wallet seen below, there's 2 sides to this wallet! One side he's smiling and the other side he's grinning hysterically. LOL. so adorable!
And the other pouch is a complilation of ALL Sanrio characters! And there's also pooh and gang surprisingly. Lols. So cute! Once I enter a shop selling stuff like this. Whoever is with me 'dies'. Haha.
Also, below u'll see a cute snowman dessert! Yummy!
It's ice kachang, honeydew flavour, with honeydew sago, vanilla ice cream, chocolate wafers, and watermelon, mango and honeydew cubes! Very nice! Only $2 at Kopitiam! :)

It'd go so well with my new Chanel mini flap--> which surprisingly can fit ALOT of stuff--> namely: iPhone, earphones, wet tissues, dry tissue, oil blotter, spec cloth, phone cloth, plasters, perfume rollerball, hand cream, comb, mini powder pact, Lipbalm, lipstick, wallet with key holder, mints, candy--> and yup, those are the things I bring out when I go out in the evening. Day time would require an umbrella, spare iPhone battery, and hand sanitizer. But I suppose the former could be brought out in the day too? Probably hold on to an umbrella then.
Couldnt believe that such a tiny weeny bag could fit SO much stuff! LOVE IT! :D

i guess u can only move on from it....
which is quite sad.

but i guess there's a reason that we cant change our past.
move on, with no regrets.

that's why we should always think at least twice before we act. that's the truth.

now, what we gotta do is look towards the future, and see how we can improve our future.

like how musicians are making an improvement on our lives, or helping us to reflect on our lives.

Weird coincidence

Was thinking abt the weird coincidence yesterday.
I took the train frm somerset to dhoby ghaut to go to harbourfront (sentosa)
So once I boarded the train at somerset, I felt someone looking at me, a guy standing beside another guy standing beside me, towards my left so I took a glance, guy in a unique checkered print blouse and jeans, tall good looking shld be Chinese guy. So didn't really bother, he also alighted at dhoby ghaut. Before he alighted he even stood infront of me and kept on turning to look at me. Ignored that too. Once alighted, he left first, I took a wrong turn towards circle line, and realized it was one end to the other end for circle line from dhoby ghaut to harbourfront. Lols.
Then I proceeded to the purple line of dhoby ghaut, witnessed a train just leaving.. Then I went to stand infront of the gantry of the train and waited for the next train.
Then.
That Same guy was standing some distance behind where I was standing, and frm the reflection of the glass paneled gantry thing I could see he was looking in my direction.
Didn't care either.
Then boarded the train, he boarded too.
Throughout the journey, I noticed he kept on looking my way.
Then coincidentally he alighted at harbourfront too...
Then later on he left first again, I walked slowly near the boardwalk area of sentosa, and saw him again whilst I was sitting near the timberland shop, he was walking towards the boardwalk area.
Wad a coincidence man...
Saw the same person 3 times in such a short frame. -.-"
At first I thought he might be someone I know. But he isn't. Wow. Such coincidences exist...

However, note that that givenchy one doesn't really give much coverage, do use a liquid foundie under it! ;D

Also, the Elizabeth Arden skin illuminating complex ain't doing much for my skin. In fact it sorta worsened it a little.. (maybe). But this treatment product, it was stated that min usage for several wks to see results, so, I'll carry on using it and find out.

Anyways, bought a new face scrub today, as my soap&glory scrub your nose in it ($17 at Sephora) is running out soon. (haha, nt yet, and yet I bought another!)
So, I got myself the hello kitty apple gommage rosette cleanser/scrub! ($12.9 frm watsons, got it frm the one @ bugis junction)
It's awesome! Smells faintly of apple, and whilst cleansing, YOU CAN FEEL YOUR DEAD SKIN BEING REMOVED!
Woah. Awesome-ness! :D

It was so NOT scary. -.-"
The actors & actresses looked quite tired by the time I left.
Hahaha.
And by looking at them straight in the eyes, they didn't dare to touch/ scare me. Haha. :D
Hate the Peranankan house where there was a ghost inside the house spewing water onto me. -.-" yucks.
And he even sprayed the water into my mouth causing me to accidentally swallow the water, WHICH TASTED WEIRD. >.< OH GOD.
YUCKS.
so. Quite pissed after that to get scared. Haha.
Then all tickets were SOLD OUT.

The roller coaster rides all required at least 100mins wait. -.-"

Today USS, cause of this event, switched off practically all of their lights, and as I have 'night blindness' couldn't really see well around. Shucks. It was quite irritating.

Dad somehow gotten 2 tix to the Universal Studios Singapore @ Resorts World Sentosa Halloween Horror nights!
So I'd be scaring myself with most prob my mum that day! 8pm-12 midnight. Cool. Just that no public transport avail for us to take after the event. Lols.
*No costumes, make up, or masks allowed at the event.
Do they mean normal makeup as well? And 'costumes'- up to one's interpretation of clothes. HAHA.
*Guest wearing costumes will be turned away at the front gate.
Turned in the other direction? No prob. Just turn back ard. HAHAHA.
*This event may be too intense for young children'- quite vague also. I am very heart at young and appearance and seemingly age too. *coughs* but I accept the challenge! WAH HAHA.

tried posting this thru my phone this morning but 'Blog Booster' App failed. -.-
so.
Been sleeping late these days, at ard 4am to 5am plus.
been hearing strange sounds late at night (aka in the mrng)
The tune i've been hearing is 'It's a small small world'--> if i'm not wrong abt the title of the song.....
it goes like this 'it's a small world after all, it's a small world after all, it's a small, small, world'...if i'm not wrong abt the lyrics.
but that's the tune.
slightly creepy. cause it has been going on for several days, and it's early morning, unless some kid out there cant sleep as well, and have been playing with his/her toy early morning?
Also, the melody/ tune seems to be following me.
i can hear it when im downstairs, in my living room using the com, when im facing the carpark area.
i can also hear it when im in my bedroom, where it's facing the corridor.
So, probably sound travels throughout my house, wherever i am, but it's really weird.
it sounds really prominent regardless of where im situated in.
HMM. :/
The melody starts every night, at ard 4am, and ends at ard 5am. WEIRD MUCH.

Has this been going on for a while?
Probably so, cause usually when i study/ read at night i have my headphones/ earphones on, so i cant hear outside noise/ sounds.

was listening (still am) to some love songs, and i must say, most of them are sad/ angry/ emotional, consisting of much negative things to say about the concept of love/ relationships.
Regardless of the language of the love song, it's conveying the same message.
Maybe listening to these songs throughout the years growing up, it has shaped my concept of love, making it difficult for me to dive into this concept. Also, i've heard that it's very time consuming. haha!
Also, some past experiences nearing the brink of love frightens me. or should I rephrase as I sorta had my feelings played with before. to naive of me i suppose, to think that 'love' comes so easily. but i must say the experiences i've had opened up my eyes to see things clearer now, and i suppose hinders me from any potential relationship....
though one may think of 'what would it be like' to be in a relationship, it doesnt seem all that rosy or enticing to me. perhaps if i meet the right person one day, that i might consider. but, for now, not the right time i suppose.
congrats to those people whom i know who have met 'the one' so early on in their lives.
to those who are still waiting to be found, like me, persevere! hehe. :D

Just reached International Plaza, on the way here I met first, Qiu Ting, right outside her block's lift, she was on her way to NUS for her test, and secondly, Charis Mah, by red cross squadmate, I recognized her when she sat next to me at Raffles place MRT. Lols. She looks good with short hair! She's taking sociology at NUS, year 1. QT's also taking Sociology as a module, but is taking Biology course.
Now, seeing all these people in NUS makes me wanna join NUS too. :( why did I make such a haste decision when it came to choosing my uni?
thus I came to this conclusion. Think twice or at least thrice before making any decision.

driving lessons

had an uh-mazing driving lesson today.
no 'shakes' from the car according to my instructor, and i did perfect u-turns. like really well done. happy to hear that.
but sadly, my stops, probably cause i press the brakes and clutch harshly when im quite near to the car infront, and that causes the people in the car to 'jump', due to the car braking harshly.
good thing about today's driving was that i didnt stall AT ALL. *applause* :D

I was trying out the Maybelline the magnum volume express mascara caused I was bored and arranging my skincare/ makeup stash in my cupboard! I used to dislike tis mascara cause it used to take damn long to dry, but it works now! :)

Went to Ion Orchard today to meet up with SY, Farhannah, & Syaf! We had dinner @ Swensens, and i ordered Fries (lethal temptation...haha. Who can resist the temptation of fries?!?) and the Clam Chowder Soup in Sour Bread Dough Bread-bowl Soup. haha. the soup was delicious but the bread got soggy by the time i finished the soup so.... :(
Just finished watching Gossip Girl Season 5 episode 1! ah. so the pregnant one was Blair. wonder whose baby it is, should be the prince's one, if i infer correctly... And i thought Serena was the one pregnant. Poor Chuck received quite a serious injury from falling off his bike whilst racing during a date with a random gal, as his mind was distracted by his feelings towards Blair and her marriage. And Dan loves Blair as well. Wow what a popular gal. :)
So Blair is supposedly pregnant, she denies it, and so is her maid.
But the pregnancy stick appears to be from Blair instead of her maid so she is definitely pregnant.

Hmm. Very tired today. It's currently 4.40am. Nowadays i've been sleeping at ard 6am/7am when my dad goes off to work. VERY BAD habit.... must change it soon, having an exam in Oct....

Medieval Fantasies

Medieval Fantasies! The new show i've been catching recently, and totally intrigrued by it, is the show 'Game of Thrones'. currently catching season 1, at episode 3, having known that whole of season 1 has been shown, with a total of 10 ep.
Season 2 is starting soon.
The characters are cast very well, and well, with HBO there are some unsightly scenes, including love-making scenes (well, it's medieval times, what do u expect...), incest (oh, what an evil deed, *shakes head*), gore (always manages to garner interest from me with this!), war, brutality, strategy, etc.
The plot, from a Storybook, is very well written. And the show is highly acclaimed and well-received.
I must say it's a damn good show, though some scenes, initially, made it awkward for me to watch but well i got over it. Though i wouldnt watch it on my laptop with my parents behind me watching the TV in the living room (my com area is in the living room). i'll wait till there're nt ard or when they're upstairs sleeping.
Though i watched ep1 played out loud in the living room with them on the couch. -.-" awkward man. during some scenes where there were 'weird' noises. haha....
Must watch show though. Highly recommend for the awesome plot and the location they filmed it in and stuff.
I watch it thru Funshion.

today, supposed to have lessons at 11.45am, reached sch at 11.40am and saw one of my classmates, asked her and realised that the law of tort class was cancelled! AGAIN! wells. so was initially told land law was cancelled too as well, but land law was still on, taught by the hilarous Dr Siva. so i brought Janani and Shangri to the tanjong pagar food market, aka Tanjong pagar hawker to eat.
then we chat inside one of the seminar rooms, abt alot of things under the sky...
the talk made me feel quite good abt myself, didnt realise i had a nice butt. lol! xD
so guys like to look at girl's butt? or aka asses. (sounds vulgar)
so is that why guys in the train like to look at me? especially there was once i wore mini skirt or smthg alot of guys were practically staring at my legs. i felt undermined that day. scared in fact. that's why i seldom, or almost nvr wear mini skirts these days.
or maybe guys like to look at legs or smthg.
ah. perverts...
some girls also like to look at other guys. i guess i'm abit embarrassed/shy to look at guys. probably if a guy is cute, just from afar, probably. but i suppose not up close, unless he's my friend and we're talking.

Just begin checking out the show 'True Blood'. alot of censored scenes inside. What is TV turning into? OMGOSH. in my opinion, it shld be rated 'R21' or at least 'M18'. but the plot is quite interesting with vampires, mind readers and stuff. i wanna see how Sookie (lead female) ended up with someone other than Bill (her current bf up till first few episodes). she's human and he's vampire. but in the end, Sookie marries a vampire as well. but some OTHER vampire.

Today was an interesting day! Met up with OLD BUDDY Lavanya, aka Lava/ Lavie!
And spoke to her sister thru the phone, and she sounds the same, with the cute baby voice, haha.
Watched Crazy Stupid Love, which was quite a good movie, and then i brought Lava to Timbre Old School @ Mount Sophia to have the Timbre's Specialty, Timbre's Thin Crust Pizza, Hawaiian, & the Timbre's Cajun Fries, aka Timbre Louisaina Fries. :D
i liked the pizza but didnt like the fries and only ate like 2 fries?

Nice to meet up with old buds, good to see that she's doing fine. She looked like she slimmed down!
And nice to hear that she has had a bf for ard 2yrs now. Plus courting would be 2yrs 8mths. haha.

Talking abt relationships, i feel alrite being single. Still waiting for a 'soulmate' to arrive. HAHA.

ah...today's class was suddenly cancelled by the school (Law of Trusts AGAIN), and tort was supposedly cancelled but in the end it wasn't cancelled (?). well. didnt had the mood to change back into my outside clothes and spend the time at home, since travelling takes 3hrs back and forth (thereabt), which would be a waste of time for just 1.5h lect.

So, was checking out some makeup and beauty reviews, and saw someone raving abt lip colour and lip glosses. and decided to go upstairs to check out my stash of mostly unused lip products.... guilty. :P

So, i re-discovered my LOVE for my Thomas Sabo Lip Gloss Balm, which is a lip balm+lip colour+lip gloss all in one nice sleek silver cap thomas sabo tube (Thomas Sabo is a brand well-known for it's jewelry).

So, it's very moisturizing, easily applied, and SMELLS HEAVENLY-rose scented, there's supposedly rose water as an ingredient, and gives my lips a nice glossy and shimmery, and watery look. AH. the SCENT won me over actually. SMELLS SOOO good. xD

Very tempted to buy the Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss next, as it was RAVED online, but i have many many lipglosses that are practically untouched cause i prefer quick lip products, well, or should i say i'm lazy to apply anything other than lip balm/ lip balm stick. haha.
Btw, the Nivea Fruity Shine in Guava is AWESOME, but wells off VERY EASILY. smells nice, gives lips a nice red sheen, but wears off in like 30mins-1hr... -.-"
Clinique Chubby Stick in Woppin' Watermelon is alright, was my HG, but now it sorta, hmm, cakes? or was it just that once, i should try that one again. Quite loving the clinique one, but i prefer nice scented products.

Saw Milani HD Advanced Lip Color when i dropped by Robinsons Centrepoint to get my $5 voucher.
Romantic Rose really attracted me. Took it to the cashier, together with my Bourjois Organic Perfecting Powder in Vanilla, then placed it at the side, made payment for my Bourjois powder and put it back in place.
Suddenly guilt-struck by my HUGE stash of lip products at home that i have yet to finish....

Btw, the Bourjois Organic Perfecting and Mattifying Powder WORKS!!!! :D
Sorta Love this product very much!
it's so finely milled, but BEWARE, it can get ALL over the place if u use too much strength to pick it up using a kabuki brush (for me, i'm using Ecotools Retractable Kabuki Brush-LOVE!).
I tried using the given sponge first time round, YUCKS. it caked on my face (i applied base+liquid foundation+concealer before)
Then, gave it another shot with Kabuki brush and LOVES!
but i think it could be due to my Givenchy Prisme Libre Quartet in Fresh Rose (Awesome ROSE scented loose powder as well)
And love the Bliv Got Me Covered Sunblock + Liquid Foundation!

So basically normal Makeup Routine would be:
(practically ALL listed are my HG products! :D )

-Avene Thermal Spray all over face as toner

-Caudalie Eau De Beaute (Beauty Elixir)- AMAZING find @ Sephora Ngee Ann City! Smells very refreshing & i use this as a serum, replaced my Estee Lauder Skin Refinisher, and i'm seeing good results!

-Eucerin DermoPurifyer Cream-Gel- replaced my Vichy Day Cream, and is working better, giving matte results

Sometimes i use Face Base/ Primer or Sunblock, but not these days with the multi-tasking products below!

-Heroine Make Matte BB Cream/ B.liv Got Me Covered/ Revlon Photoready in 004 Nude/ Ahava Minerals Light Liquid Foundation
Heroine Make BB is the MOST used. gives matte finish, skincare benefits, full coverage, what more can u ask for? :)
B.liv Got Me Covered is also a multitasking product, skincare benefits in removing blackheads on face (works!), sunblock, foundation, but not as high coverage as Heroine Make, for better skin days! :)
Revlon Photoready. depends on whether i can stand the dewy finish, prefer my Ahava Minerals Light Liquid Foundation in Sand (Light/ Medium)-gives nice matte finish, but causes skin to feel tight probably due to some kinda skincare ingredient inside.

-Chanel Correcteur Perfection/ Maybelline AngelFit/ Loreal True Match concealer.
Chanel is good for better skin days as the coverage is quite sheer, very easily absorbed and blendable.
Btw, the chanel concealer smells nice!
Maybelline is mostly used these days though i'm having gd skin days.
Prefer this for matte look, heavy coverage over acne scars or dark circles (covers COMPLETELY), amazing product! Chanel is too sheer, and have to apply several layers for dark circles. But finishing the Chanel Concealer very soon. argh. nice product teehee.
Loreal True Match, nice brush enables precise application! abit tad yellowy for my cool, pink-based complexion, but has full coverage and doesn't cake.
Btw all of these concealers don't cake! ;D

-Topshop Brighten under eyes.
Optional, if i'm using the other two concealers other than the Chanel, no need to cover dark circles using this.

-Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder Quartet in Fresh Rose.
Ooh, the highly raved product on MUA.
Smells heavenly- rose scent, finely milled, doesn't cake on my face, i suppose it helped kept my face matte besides everything else too.
Gives skin a nice fresh pink glow.

-Bourjois BioDetox Organic Perfecting Powder/ Garnier Light Whitening Face Powder.
Apply onto face by buffing, Garnier used to be my HG but didn't really keep my face TOTALLY matte all day.
So Bourjois is my new HG :D

-Blush- In2it Blush in CW02 Kiss.
My HG Blush! if i'm going for an everyday matte pinky look. contours face well.
if not, i'll use my Rimmel 3in1 in 001 Spring Flower, if i wanna brighten my face i'll only use the lightest shade.
if not, blend light and medium.
For going out at night, use the darkest shade.
This 3in1 three color blush is AWESOME for mulitple looks! and i can't seem to finish using it though i've been using it almost FOREVER.

-Eyebrow- Fanbo (not sure of the name, it's printed in gold is italic that i can't really decipher! haha) Eyebrow Pencil in Black.
This awesome and cheap eyebrow pencil rocks.
Covers any holes in my eyebrow and the brush is nice, not the new types, the old kinda brush in a row type as it's cap.
This pencil is made in Germany and it needs to be sharpened, but one resharpen can last for a LONG time!
BTW it's waterproof too! ME LOVE waterproof stuff! HAHA. Due to the HUMID WEATHER IN SINGAPORE!

-Lips- Nivea Fruity Shine in Guava/ Smith's Rosebud Salve or Clinique Chubby Stick in Woppin' Watermelon
OMG. the rosebud salve is an AWESOME AWESOME PRODUCT! cleared the blemishes on my face, nice rose scent, amazing colour on lips and acts as a lip balm and gloss! and it also relieves itches on rashes and stuff. what a MULTITASKER!
Nivea Fruity Shine smells abit tad soapy, but gives nice red glittery sheen to lips, but the glitter can be felt on lips, and it disappears quickly, have to be reapplied often.
The Clinque Chubby Sticks are good for a wash of color but note, it's not a balm as advertised.
It's not that moisturizing AT ALL. well, at least on my dryer lip days.
On normal days, it's fine.

-Eyes- For an everyday quick splash of colour, Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/ Liner in Bunny Hop.
Nice wash of colour that is My-Lids-But-Better, Pink Creamy Shadow with slight slight shimmer.
I just apply this with eyeshadow brush over my lids and that's it, RAVE this amazing product!
It isnt stated that it's waterproof but i tested it several times and it is! what a pleasant surprise. (^.^)

And if i have time, Felt Pen Eyeliner, Heroine Make Felt Pen Eyeliner in Black.
Waterproof, easy to apply brush tip, gives deep black colour, but smudges when i try to curl my lashes with my eyelash curler EVERYTIME. sigh.
Back to my HG Face Shop Felt Pen Eyeliner in Black i suppose, but sadly, that isn't waterproof.
Or shld i try the highly raved Kiss Me Eyeliner?

That's it for my everyday look, sometimes if i have time i'll use eyeshadows. and depends on the clothes im wearing and where i'll be going to.

And as for my Lips, i have MANY, in fact, NUMEROUS lip glosses, lipsticks, lip balms, tinted lip balms etc.
If im going out, i'll use the glosses or sticks.

luck

after watching the Johnny English movie at GV today, i realised luck plays a huge part in life.
The character, Johnny English played by Ronan Atkinson, has ALOT of luck as a secret agent, if he wasn't lucky, his character would be dead LONG ago. LOLS.

So, i myself having quite alot of luck, i must say, throughout my entire life, winning contests after contests for truckload of freebies (minor issues), and major issues such as being able to change school during secondary 2, and passing my exams and sometimes aceing them without much studying at all (honestly i STILL dont really understand how to study up till now, and I AM GUILTY as charged, haha)

I believe i have used up much of my luck up till now, and hard work has come into play (or should i say, shall be played as of now).

I will try to work on my contract law ASAP..... but everytime i try to study i am so distracted by EVERYTHING ard me.

THAT HAS TO CHANGE.....

try to reduce my shows to watch and stuff, and sigh, the recap of ANTM on Star World of cycle 16 of winner Brittani was AWESOME.

F1 nightlife

Well! F1 Season is here! And there goes the news introducing the amazing places to spend the nighttime.
Next wk is F1 week alr. that's fast.
Amber louge prices are absurd. $857 per person for entry and well, unlimited drinks and free seating.
But the table prices are the ones which is ridiculous.
well, it's probably a means of spending excessive cash by the wealthy.

MBS clubs are well, reasonable, priced closed to local clubs.
Entry to Avalon, for example, costs $33 (early bird), or $48 for weekday F1 nights. and more ex, ard $100+ for weekend F1 nights, which is the last 2 days of the race.

Would u guys spend that amount of money for one night/ a few nights of fun?

Driving!

Out of the 6 driving lessons I've had, 4 were in rain/ heavy rain. The clutch still gets on my nerves, causing me to stall now and then. It's so sensitive. And my impatient legs always lets go of it abit too much. Lols.
So stalling has improved from alot of times to today's twice.
Instructor claims that I stall during my one-point turns previously. So not true. He even exclaimed my one-point turns were good the prev lessons? Lol.
Next driving lesson is till next fri alr.
Next week is a BUSY BUSY SUPER BUSY week.
Sorta fully booked alr.
Life is busy.
I'm a busy busy bee. :D

woo. the free gift frm CLEO today, Diesel Fuel For Life EDP Denim Edition is really really cute. the denim can be unzipped to reveal the 'naked' perfume. costs $106 retail price, saw em whilst on my trip down to Robinsons Centrepoint to collect my free $5 voucher and to purchase some stuff. (Lotsa discounts going on now!)
Have decided abt my studies, gonna take Contract Law Exam tis Oct...and getting that result this Dec.
Then cont yr2, and yr3 as per normal.
So....Time to mug on Contract exam, and for tmr, another Driving lesson, at 2pm.
Nice trip today to ALOT of places, and those items i mention in my blog are all posted in the mobile uploads of my facebook.
Tanglin is quite a nice quiet and seemingly exclusive location, so is Newton. interesting places to live in.

Singapore is really a city of alot of rich people, given the fact that the streets were roamed with Porsches (always cute!), Maseratis (surprisingly, seldom see them ard, but i saw 4 of em today, very very pretty sight!), Mercedes, BMWs (surprisingly nice as well. esp the white ones), Roll Royce (surprisingly sight @ Zion Rd, Roll Royce Phantom), etc.
Cars are such an extra commodity, smthg u own to show the whole whole that u have extra money to spend.
Hmm. Yet the roads are filled with them. Guess convienience and privacy are very alluring.

New shows: The Secret Circle,
i just found- Lost Girl.

Shouldnt be watching them though.
Would start studying for Contract very soon. Shall finally come up with a timetable to study....

Woots! Me back to BLOGGING! well, it has been a LONG hiatus but well...
so i have just finished around 4 WHOLE MONTHS of holiday, which included a few days of work, my beginning of getting a driving license, slacking around and catching up on ALOT of television shows (YIPPEE!) and lotsa going out, and spending ALOT of money.
Well....My parents' money.. (paiseh... -.-")

Hmm, so school (Year 2 LLB) just started, and well. I had 1 lesson each of Tort, Land, and Commercial.
The Commercial law teacher was very funny and engaging, Mr Siva, and even cracked jokes during class alot of times, making the lesson interesting & engaging, and at one point of time even walking out of the classroom.... -.-" (well, that was ABIT overboard but.. XD )

And while i was bored and curious about whether I made the right choice studying law, and to get a better idea of what i'm getting into, i applied for internships at various law firms for the month of december, hopefully i'll get in though. It'd be interesting like with my internship with Hewlett-Packard Singapore.

Though the Commercial law class was interesting, it's like an extension of Contract Law in Year 1, which i sorta disliked. All those SOGA, Statutes, Cases, Party with Party Obligations and things binding them. SUCKED. Bleh....

To think i have to go though those again...OH GOD.

And just sudden thought, today's Commercial law class reminded me of my old GP classes, at SOT. those were the engaging and interesting times....

Shows i've been caught up with:
-Suits (amazing legal drama about a guy who works in a law firm as a lawyer without even having undergone law school)
-Drop Dead Diva (life of a soul of a skinny female model trapped in a plus-sized model's body, living a lawyer's life)
-Pretty Little Liars (the show about 4 girls life, revolved around their dead best friend who's still haunting them even when she's supposedly dead)
-Big Bang Theory (can nvr get enough of scientists and their funny talk XD )
-The Lying Game (about twin sisters who got separated and adopted by different families at birth, finding each other, and discovering there might be a ugly truth behind the hidden information of their birth mother)
-The Voice (live singing competition which is WAY better than american idol)
-Last Man Standing (hunky dudes competing in extreme sports in rural areas...what more can u ask for! :D )
-Awkward. (funny show about a shy, used-to-be invisible school girl and her ambiguous relationship with the hottest and most popular guy in school)

Went to H&M recently and bought alot of stuff. For their items, some are nice and some are not, up to one's discretion. But it is much more affordable than Mango, Zara, etc. :)

Driving lesson are well, fun, but well, alot of times after i stop at the traffic light, i'll stall trying to start the gear. LOL.
BTT was quite good, 49/50, but wonder which qn i got wrong, and hmm. Should mug on FTT when i'm free (Ekk. the theory book for FTT looks THICK-er.)

So summary of how life was spent during the hols:
Went to MEDZS @ OC to eat. AMAZING. i LOVE the food there.
with the 20% discount with DBS Credit Cards, it's very affordable. without it, hard to say.

am having practical driving lessons now, having one tmr at 12pm. The lessons are quite fun, but i stall now and then after stopping at the traffic light due to the clutch and that irritates me. Argh my left clumsy feet....

Attended the Singapore Legal Forum 2011, at the Singapore Supreme Court on the 20/8, Sat, interersting forum, attended by senior counsels, lawyers, the Attorney-General of Singapore, lawyer wannabes and law students, and even saw some JC students who are interested in the Legal Profession as well.
Almost everyone, with a few exception, was 'dressed-to-the-nines'. haha.
I mean they were dressed looking like a lawyer, looking very smart. :D
I was too, dressed in a white blouse, black skirt, black patent heels. haha. received alot of looks from people on the train, curious glances, like probably they were wondering which profession i was in or maybe that is the standard attire of lawyers? haha :D

the leather embosed into the earphone is too heavy for the ear even if the earbud fitted the ear.
I tried using it numerous times with the different earbud sizes, to no avail.
too heavy for my ears...had to buy a new pair of earbuds.

Sometimes i feel like i shld be pursuing an IT degree since IT was (was) my passion when i was in sec sch.
My ambition tweaked after my experience at Hewlett-Packard Singapore.
It WAS NOT a bad experience, it was a good one in fact, but i just feel that IT is a male dominated industry, and hmm, the work wasnt that appealing and challenging to me in a sense.
It's quite a mundane life, and law is a way, way challenging industry to me, than the IT sector.

My interest in the legal career sparked in a funny way. through the Myer-briggs indicator/ personality test i took. I got INTJ in the past which indicated law is my calling. through these years, i re-took the test and am now a ENTJ. the only thing that has changed is that from an introvert, im more of a extrovert now, and that legal career is still my calling. and having watched all those legal shows, reading law materials, getting in touch with what lawyers do, the law career really insprires me, generates interest in me, and really calls out to me.

But obviously, the legal career do not accept students with poor grades.
It's a cruel world out there, dog-eat-dog world.
Especially with the high pay associated with a legal career, the firms expect nothing but the best.
they look for students with good grades, an outstanding attitude, and without good grades, they wouldnt even give you a second look given the small number of people the industry intend to hire due to the disappropriate amount of law students compared to the small amount of law firms.
One has to work very hard to survive in such a industry.

I applied for an internship in various law firms, and i hope to gain more insight into what the legal career entails to be certain that what i'm into is what i really aspire to be. studying law does not give me an insight of what a life of a lawyer is like. having an internship would enable me to truly understand what is required and expected of an actual lawyer.

I also had High tea at Spruce, at Tanglin Road. the high tea pastries was mediocre, nothing unique, but the TEA was amazing. i might go back for another meal just because of the amazing tea (which was free flow! for the high tea set), and to try their dishes- spruce burger, ginger date pudding, braised duck pappardelle, double chocolate crunch cake, & drinks- hot chocolate, lemonade with mint. :)

I also dine at Friends @ Jelita, in case u were wondering where, it's at Holland Village, near Sixth Avenue.
Amazing restuarant with nice ambience, good for a romantic dinner. the steak i had there was very memorable, nicely seasoned, medium well, very nice indeed. it was the grain fed ribeye steak.

I also dined @ Cafe Del Mar, and their signature Vongole was AMAZING. i had their Vongole everytime i go there, which has been around 4 times? nice pasta cooked with white wine and clams. :D

I also dined @ Wavehouse Sentosa several times, around 6 times? each time, almost all was on a Wednesday, as Wednesday is Wavehouse 1-for-1 day! So much so that the waiter there remembers me! LOLS. :D nice service there. they treats their diners very very well. and the toilet in the restuarant is the cleaniest in all of the restuarants i've tried on the Siloso beach strip. And with the Wavehouse membership i have, there's an additional 10% off the bill, which with the restuarant without service charge, that means the prices on the menu are NETT. :D
what i recommend at Wavehouse is the:
-Steak, the new zealand steak, middle priced, not the most ex one. i think it's the chef recommended one right smack in the middle of the main course menu
-Seafood Pasta- alot of seafood: clams, prawns, mussels,etc. nice.
-Seafood Soup- alot of seafood as well. delicious. but a tad tinier portion.
-Drink: Daiquiri- Lychee or i tik it was Mango.

Another rare gem of food i've found whilst working at Robinsons Raffles City.

I bought this Fried Fish noodle soup which was AMAZING!!!!

Amazing prices for such delicacies!

Very very filling and very delicious. But BE WARNED. everything there is expensive.

So, i'm contemplating to take the contract law paper in Oct, which is like soon and seemingly difficult, or change to Scheme B, i.e. continue with yr 2 but take 3 subjects in may/june 2012, including contract law and 2 yr 2 subjects and study for an additional year.
the second option seems viable and it'd be easier to score better with less workload on my hands. being easily distracted and lazy person, the second option is more appealing and less intimidating.

So....decision making time.
Shall go RELC and see how tomorrow.

Self-written 'Poem'. I tik i shld have taken an English degree instead of a Law degree. LOL. this shows that being good at writing and GP= yr english may be good but nt in the sense of applying it to writing LAW essays. -.-" Here goes: Fate: "I don't look at you in the eye, because I know you are looking at someone else. Damnit I jus wasted sooooooo (and the 'o's goes to infinity) much time looking at other people's profile and stuff. Saw a very sweet thing, a status of a facebook fren who was in the same tuition as me, wanted to like it but didn't as I dun really know him. But he wrote abt hw he got to know his gf and stuff. Soooo (x infinity) SWEET. they're separated by continents but keep in touch thru skype. Amazing hw love transcends boundaries.... Awww. Im so touched that I can't sleep. LOL.! still at pg 553 of Barnett, the book of my very famous friend. HAHA. and I'm reading on hw she views 'freedom of expression', which is what I'm utilizing right nw. ;) woohoo! Public law FTW. ;D
